This Training event will focus on Carrier Commercial Rooftop units, and the platforms that Carrier uses in these units to make them run. Participants will also learn about the vast changes going on within the Carrier lineup to meet
the ever-changing energy consumption requirements of today’s world.
Go over changes to Carrier rooftop units over the past 2 years.
Go over Carrier’s transition to “Puron Advanced” R454B refrigerant.
Touch on the need for “Mitigation” methods with R454B.
Staged Air Volume and the Eco Blue motor start up and troubleshooting.
Staged Air Volume and Economizer control with Siemens Climatix controller.
Go over Bulletins and Service updates to Rooftop units.
We will go over the new Carrier 48JC unit and what makes it different
Go over System Vu controller and platform
Touch on set up and programming for the System Vu controller
