Job Responsibilities: Primary focus on generating Carrier Great Lakes Residential products, accessories, and related supply sales through new construction of both builder and multi-family accounts Develop new business through prospecting & account acquisition to maximize sales Develop sales collateral for builders, contractors, developers to promote Carrier brand and CGL associated supplies Manage dealer adds for national account quote eligibility Assist with multi-family quotes for inside & outside sales team Assist with price study submissions with Carrier Corporation Assist with overall Residential pricing strategies Provide input as needed on Residential product offering Have a thorough knowledge of all CGL products available Provide post sale visits when needed to achieve customer satisfaction Establishing and maintaining good relations with customers by providing prompt and courteous service for all customers, both in person and over the phone. Requirements: Degree in HVAC, Business, or Technical College. Minimum 5 years HVAC sales experience. Knowledge of HVAC equipment and supplies. Exceptional interpersonal communication, negotiation skills, and customer focus. Qualified candidates will have both a business and a technical background. Excellent computer skills and common software literacy. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Solid critical thinking, problem-solving and planning skills. High level of personal accountability; sense of urgency and self-initiative is a must. Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction Qualifications: Experience working with HVAC contractors and dealers in Residential marketplace. Knowledge of a distribution environment.
