POSITION DETAILS We are searching for the right candidate to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. Primary objectives of this position: The ideal candidate in this position will: Prepare and Conduct semi-annual technical training classes on Carrier HVAC equipment. Provide daily Technical Support over the phone and through e-mail to customers and contractors in the field. Provide Application support and work with contractors to properly apply install and commission Carrier CCN & BACnet controls. Respond to customer warranty inquiries and provide claim analysis and details regarding claim status, payments, and credits. Negotiate Warranty disputes between Manufacturers and customers. Provide occasional site visit support to assist contractors and technicians in diagnosing difficult or elusive problems. Support the Service Manager and the Controls Specialist. Attending training classes (on site and off site). Qualifications: Understanding of web based HVAC controls and IP addressing. Understanding of DDC/BMS controls. Familiar with CCN & BACnet controls. Knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems. Must be computer literate with Microsoft operating systems.
