Training Objective
Technicians today need “new” skills to install, troubleshoot, and service todays Single Zone and Multi-Zone Ductless Split Systems. This course will cover the proper tools, techniques, and “best practices” to install and service DLS systems and products.
Attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of ductless split system installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
Crossover and Hybrid Systems and applications.

2) Detailed understanding of Inverter Driven Systems
3) System service and maintenance procedures
4) Troubleshooting 1:1 & multi-zone systems
5) Flaring Copper tubing for R410A
6) Application Considerations
7) Why equipment sizing is still important – even with variable speed technology
8) Fixed capacity vs Variable speed considerations
9) Low Ambient Application Considerations
10) Installation and operation of controls/accessories.

“No shows / no cancel” will be billed the full cost of the class. Carrier Great Lakes reserves the right to cancel a class without prior notice if minimum enrollment is not met.
