Position: Warehouse Associate – Carrier Great Lakes is offering an excellent opportunity for college students or others with a desire for a weekday afternoon schedule. Status: Part-time, Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm. There may be slight variations to the schedule. Job Responsibilities: Performs various shipping and receiving duties both manually and with a forklift. Maintaining accurate inventory and conducts inventory actions. Utilizing positive communication skills. Providing superior customer service to our customers. Prepares orders by processing requests; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Requirements: Forklift Experience Able to lift 70 pounds Able to climb ladders and work on your feet all day 1-3 years of warehouse operational experience Preferred Skills: PC skills Inventory and shipping/receiving experience Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent with one year experience Carrier Great Lakes offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, vision and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, profit sharing, 401K, vacation and sick leave.
